been using my free time to spruce my skill up a bit, thus means no cool sketches. Next time I Update it should be something amazing tho, in my little black book I have some cool things planned to complete.

Purty busy so heres some older commission stuff Ive been doing for a fellows D&D book. I wanted to create a different finish since it was more serious tidbits. So they all use the same direction from the tutorial I posted before.

I have quite a bit of stuff sitting around. Ive had a preview of this series for a minuet but cant seem to figure out when and how to complete it. so here is the first part.

my brother who is now i believe in cuba sent me some pictures over from his stay in salvador,brazil. So i thought I’d share, enjoy.

a very unexpected day, Mike wieringo a very very talented artist whom i never got to meet in person but talked to a few times online passed away

“The comics industry lost a luminary this weekend - Mike Wieringo passed away Sunday of a sudden heart attack. Details are still sketchy as of this time, but according to close sources, the acclaimed artist had chest pains at some point during the day and called 911, but the responders did not make it in time”

im not a big comic book artist fan but he was one of the very few I looked up to when I was younger. he will always be in my mind one of my major inspirations in life.

so sdcc was a fun little time, i got to meet a few artists i wanted to meet and some i just happened to run into at the mariott sketch jam. still didnt get to meet everyone i wanted but next time i will have a booth to make it easier.

highlights were

-road trip front and back as friend puts a dennies bathroom out of order.
-eatting some pretty nice food amongst close friends.
-blue dragon demo which i loved.
-dmc4 demo which i also love.
-picking up both tekkon kinkreet books.

so I will be attenting the con on saturday and sun. I will be hitting up the mariott drawing board sketch jam (Saturday night) so i hope to see some of you guys there, no table or anythign cute. i think i will plan for all that stuff next time.

hope to see anyone attending that jam on Saturday night or at any of the functions that happen on those 2 days.

long hiatus, but understandable because of alot of stuff has been going on.

first off i must say that the cancer is in remission since june. so above everything that is what makes his year so great. thanks for all those who bought sketches/sketchbooks during that time period. I plan to keep the foundation going by putting up a offical site to help get money to people with various types of cancer around the usa. The money side of health should never be the most important side, but more so i gotta figure out a way to get it to the directly into the hands of organizations that actually will help people….and not just say their helping and pocket the money.

if you are unfortunate to experience the poor health care system in america you will understand what im talking about.

secondly i have now psuedo relocated to california(la casa de ed tadem) and started working in the storyboard and production department on southpark. i work under some pretty talented folks and that aint no bs…..so more frequent updates and i get more settled in peoples.

I think its soon going to be time to revamp thee ol’ siteroo/blog with a new look some new art, new feel, ect, ect. maybe something with cute flash and a better use of css. I think the new direction will have the blog as the main deal, because lately i’ve done more stuff that i can’t show or dont fit anywhere on the main site.
